Wausau has a rich musical tradition, and we continue to share in this tradition that began with a small orchestra in 1898. Our musicians come from all areas of Wausau and the surrounding communities-students, teachers, retirees and professionals from all walks of life. We also work to strengthen school music programs through educational outreach designed to help students to further develop their skills and talents.
